Book 894: People Like Us (Winsford Green #2) – Ruby Moone

This is the second installment in Ruby Moone’s Winsford Green series after Dances Long Forgotten. I started the series when I accepted A Christmas Miracle, the fourth book, from Gay Romance Reviews and am glad I started it.

I was really hoping each one would have a contemporary connection like the first book, but this one didn’t have it. That didn’t detract from the story, but I still felt it would’ve been a cool connection between each of the books even though all the characters seem to know/meet each other.

Book 893: His Perfect Christmas Gift – Ali Ryecart

I’m legitimately holding my breath for the producers at Hallmark, Netflix, Hulu, etc. to discover the depth and breadth of MM Holiday Romance novels that are already out there ready to be adapted into made for TV movies. I mean GET ON IT.

This is one of those perfectly canned books that could be turned into a movie really quickly. It would require two big sets at most and not a large cast and it’s fully contained within a week. it’s seriously written explicitly to be adapted!

Book 891: Christmas Wish List (Hartbridge Christmas #2) – N.R. Walker

This is the follow-up I didn’t know I wanted. We once again find ourselves in Hartbridge, Montana, last visited when Hamish from Tic-Tac-Mistletoe crashed his car in front of Ren the big burly hardware store owner’s house and a whirlwind romance commenced.

We see them again almost immediately when Jayden, another Australian ex-pat and chef extraordinary, comes into the hardware store to ask for directions to the chateau where his next job is. And in walks owner of said chateau and newly single and somewhat-out Cass.

I have been waiting for this ARC request to arrive in my inbox ever since I read the teaser at the end of Playing Offside and it was worth the wait!*

Book 889: Dances Long Forgotten (Winsford Green #1) – Ruby Moone

What a delightful read! I grabbed this from Kindle Unlimited when an ARC request came in for book four of the series (A Christmas Miracle) landed in my inbox.

Having never read Moone before, even though I was intrigued by the blurb of the ARC, I wanted to see what how her writing was so I went and grabbed this one and it was the perfect quick read. I hope the quality stays throughout the series and that they are connected, even if they’re just standalones.
