Seriously, imagine on your 17th birthday your adoptive mother is like oh heyyyy remember how I’ve been open with you about your mom. Well your mom actually wanted me to keep all of this LIFE CHANGING INFORMATION FROM YOU. As if you weren’t going through enough issues as a gay teen, throw in that you’re apparently also a crown prince of a small European country, yeah oof.

OOOF. You know when they tell you not to judge/choose a book by its cover? That 100% applies to this one. When this landed in my inbox, I thought, ” Oh, that’s a decently professional cover, the model is attractive, and the font isn’t too amateur,” so I requested a copy.* AND then a few weeks later when I sat down to read it, I realized it was the second book in a series, the first was 
I requested a copy of this from Gay Romance Reviews because it’s Maine and I remembered enjoying the couple of books I read by Amy Aislin.*
It’s weird writing this a week into November. I was doing so good about keeping up but the end of October and the beginning of November has been long and exhausting. School is picking up with shifting from fall one to fall two classes and midterms and the reading is no joke. And that doesn’t even take into work ALWAYS picking up around this time.
I got a little more reading done in September than I did in August, but only because I leaned into romances. This academic reading is no joke ya’ll—if I added that in you’d think all I did was read for the entire month! It also didn’t hurt that we were on vacation for the first week or so of September so I got plenty of reading and knitting done without adorable puppy interruptions.
