Book cover of "Hope on the Rocks" with Amazon Affiliate linkWhenever I get a chance to throw in something from Annabeth Albert’s back catalog, I usually do. I’m slowly making my way through it and this was the last book in her Rainbow Cove series.

I like to think that this series and her Portland Heat series are in a shared universe, I mean they’re only so far apart on the Oregon coast. Rainbow Cove is definitely kinkier than Portland Heat, but they both have their moments.

Book cover of "Lumber Jacked" with Amazon Affiliate linkI snuck this one in on the flight home from Florida. I knew it would be a quick read, but I didn’t realize it was a novella even though it says it on the cover. FAIL.

Lumber Jacked features Johnny, the wood-providing lumberjack mentioned as a friend of Curtis in Tender with a Twist, and Cam, a makeup vlogger who returned to Rainbow Cove to help out his grandmother. Cam mistakes Johnny for a stripper his best friend might’ve sent after a bad day, and the story takes off from there.

Book 912: Tender with a Twist (Rainbow Cove #2) – Annabeth Albert

Book cover of "Tender with a Twist" with Amazon Affiliate linkAnd this is what I get when I don’t read the blurb on the back cover—a much kinker romance than I was expecting ¯_(ツ)_/¯. I figured out who the protagonists would be pretty quickly in book one, Trust with a Chaser, but I 100% missed it’d be this kinky if there were any hints!

I do love that Albert likes to spice things up every now and then and that it doesn’t change her character-driven slow-burn romances, so really even if it just pushes me outside of my normal comfort zones I’m here for it.

Book cover of "Cup of Joe" with Amazon Affiliate linkWhenever Annabeth Albert releases a new book, I take notice. I don’t always read them right away, but with her being the one to beat when it comes to MM Romance novels that make feel all the feels I’m of course going to want to read them.

When she released Cup of Joe as part of the Bold Brew series focusing on kink-friendly romance novels written by 10 different authors and it was free on Kindle Unlimited I of course couldn’t resist. So here we are, and I’m not sure I want to be here.

Book 776: Star Spanked (Holiday Romance #3) – Leighton Greene

Book cover of "Star Spanked" with Amazon Affiliate linkAnd to finish off 2020 I finish off the kinky romance trilogy I unexpectedly walked into. Instead of a Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa (those are so hard to find!) or New Year’s MM Romance I read a 4th of July Independence Day novel!? Oh well, I actually ended up reading one more MM Holiday Romance after the first because I forgot I’d put it on hold at the library.

Star Spanked finds us once again deep in the kink world of Los Angeles. We find out that Jon and Connor from Winter Wonders are now engaged (or married) and Tristan and Seth from Taming Tristan play a decent sized role in this novel as Ezra, a model seeking to get out of the industry is Tristan’s roommate. The other protagonist is semi-celebrity British ex-pat Sebastian.
