This is going to be a relatively short recap since not much has changed since March and I’m just sort of trekking along. Tim’s finally back to a normal schedule, but I’m still WFH probably through the end of the year at this point (just speculation on my part) and we had to cancel our big August/September trip but are still hoping we’ll be able to get a house somewhere for a week at least.

May Recap 2020
Another month of being home—this really hit home when I went to grab photos for this recap post and they were all home-based . . . again. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been working from home full time eleven weeks now, but not that hard anymore. With Tim being in healthcare and working directly with COVID-10 patients we’ve been a lot more cautious than a lot of people we know (more for their sake than ours). Thankfully, it hasn’t been too trying because we’re both pretty introverted.
April Recap 2020
Holy, reading Batman! I read 12 books this month thanks to a hot streak of MM romance novels and I’m astounded at that number.
Aside from reading I’ve spent time knitting, baking, and, over the last week, obsessively playing Animal Crossing. I also dug out my DVD case because I was desperate to watch Pride and Prejudice (2005) and it was only streaming on one service we don’t have.
March Recap 2020
What a month . . .
Like so many others I’ve had to transition from going to work five days a week to working from home and it has been an interesting adjustment. If I’m honest, I honestly thought I would be reading more and I have, but it’s mostly news stories and work stuff as at first I overcompensated and then under-compensated as I adjusted, but in general haven’t done a lot of recreational reading. I have spent way too much time on Zoom calls, but at least some have been with friends (right).
February Recap 2020
It feels like ages ago that we were on our (what has come to be) annual trek to warmer climates during the winter. And I miss it so much, I mean look at that water and that blue sky, it was wonderful and even worth the sunburn!
We did the same cruise we did last year, which allowed me to read four full books and get a good chunk of the way through a fifth, all while lounging by a pool or on a beach. Isn’t that the life?
