Book cover of "Head to Head" with Amazon Affiliate linkOf course, if half their frats start falling in love with each other, the presidents of each would too. Head to Head brings us Jax, the hipster president of the Sigma nerds, and Rand, the soccer-playing, pre-MBA president of the jocks.

These two had the most hatred for each other than any of the other members of their frats and that’s just coming from them being background characters. The bulk of that seems to have been from Rand’s point of view, but even Jax loses his cool more often than not.

Coaching the Nerd happens simultaneously as the first book and features, Sean, the smartest of the Sigma’s who has made a New Year’s Resolution to get in shape and lose his virginity, and Bubba, (Gawain – swoon) a massive third-line defenseman on the school’s football team that’s never met someone who wasn’t a future friend.

Book 997: Schooling the Jock (Nerds vs Jocks #1) – Eli Easton & Tara Lain

Book cover of "Schooling the Jock" with Amazon Affiliate linkAfter finishing The Hot Cannolis by Eli Easton and Tara Lain and knowing I didn’t want to jump into a more serious novel. I searched on Kindle Unlimited for a nerd/jock MM Romance and this series popped up. When I noticed the authors, there was no question about reading it so I dove right in.

Schooling the Jock is a twist on your classic enemies to lovers crossed with the nerd/jock trope and I am here for it. On the one hand, you’ve got Dobbs, the head of the university’s quiz bowl team who is openly gay and smart as hell, and on the other, you’ve got Jesse, the school’s prized running back (I think) who happens to be smart as hell and closeted.

Book 982: You’re a Mean One, Matthew Prince (Boy Meets Boy #2) – Timothy Janovsky

Book cover of "You're a Mean One, Matthew Prince" with Amazon Affiliate linkAs I mentioned in my review of Never Been Kissed, I originally planned to read this but when I found out it was the second in a (now I know unconnected) series, I had to start with the first! Thankfully, my local library had digital copies of both and I was able to download them and jump right in.

The premise of this novel is that the very wealthy Matthew pulls a ridiculous stunt and his parents send him to live with his grandparents for the holidays to let the press cool off and teach him a lesson. There he meets, down-t0-earth scholarship student Hector who has no time or patience for spoiled little rich boy shenanigans.

Book 981: Never Been Kissed (Boy Meets Boy #1) – Timothy Janovsky

Book cover of "Never Been Kissed" with Amazon Affiliate linkIn all honesty, I had no intention of reading this. I didn’t even know it existed, but when I stumbled across You’re a Mean One, Matthew Prince by Janovsky, and realized it was a series (that’s not connected as far as I’m aware) and the library had this one I grabbed it too.

And OMG am I glad I did.

I was a little annoyed at first as this is a bit of a copycat of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, but queerer and with a lot more humor (or at least my taste in humor). Wren sends emails to his four almost first kisses after a night out and the chaos ensues. After I got over that I was beyond invested because Janovsky was hilarious.
