Time continues to fly by in the time of COVID. I, like most of the world, have been working from home for almost six months. There are days it feels routine and days it absolutely doesn’t. Thankfully, we got out of town to visit NH for the first week of September. We were originally supposed to be in Alaska for the roommates 40th birthday, but for obvious reasons that didn’t happen.

July Recap 2020
Not going on vacation and not physically going to work has made this summer move by even faster than usual. We’ve spent most of it hunkered down in the AC because it’s been miserably hot in Boston off and on. We have been able to squeeze in some roof deck time in the evenings when it cools off, but for the most part it’s AC all the way.
Books and Bookish Things
I got a lot of reading done this month, 16 books. That just behind the 18 I read in May, but well ahead of the 12 in April! This pandemic has really done a number on my reading (oh hey, MM Romances :-D).
A Decade of Blogging
What a year. I’m still trying to comprehend how the last 1/3 has played out between coronavirus and global demonstrations against systemic oppression and working from home since March, like it’s just been a weird year since my last blogiversary.
Since last July 20, I have read 98 books. That is SHOCKING, but not really with the number of romance novels I’ve plowed through since March, but stills seems like a really high number. I’m glad over the past year I’ve continued reading whatever I want with little rhyme or reason, I’ve steadily inched closer to 700 books read and blogged about since I started blogging, and I surpassed 1,000 posts on here in the past year.
June Recap 2020
This is going to be a relatively short recap since not much has changed since March and I’m just sort of trekking along. Tim’s finally back to a normal schedule, but I’m still WFH probably through the end of the year at this point (just speculation on my part) and we had to cancel our big August/September trip but are still hoping we’ll be able to get a house somewhere for a week at least.
May Recap 2020
Another month of being home—this really hit home when I went to grab photos for this recap post and they were all home-based . . . again. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been working from home full time eleven weeks now, but not that hard anymore. With Tim being in healthcare and working directly with COVID-10 patients we’ve been a lot more cautious than a lot of people we know (more for their sake than ours). Thankfully, it hasn’t been too trying because we’re both pretty introverted.
